postal duty pros vs. cons?

Default postal duty pros vs. cons?

i was wondering the pro's vs. con's are for postal duty. i'm usaf E5, missiles job and limited to 4 main bases with a few lucky dogs...if you know someone kind of thing

I've only known one guy that did postal duty. He was stationed at an Army post in Australia. Said he never even wore a uniform the entire time he was there. He loved it.

Have heard good things about it as well espically if you in a missle AFSC might be your only chance to go to another base

one of my buddies did it and he was in Germany for 6 months before they sent him back to the states to get humvee driving training, he did convoy duty for 6 months over in the dessert when he got back, he doesnt like it very much.

what if something came up and i needed to retract my AMS application, can it be done?

yeah, just use that scroll thing and go to "NONE" and click submit. It explains it in that application window

thank you camaroguy, i'll look in to it. yesterday i was told to go to Vmpf and update my dream sheet and that would cancel out the request aswell
