What was the deal with the coolant leak? It was the intercooler right? If so either the pump failed or there was a restriction - either way the intercooler probably wasn't working right.
Who said i have shortys and 250cfm heads? I have LTs and 280cfm heads with 11.5:1cr with a hydraulic roller all through a T-56 in a 3150lb car. Quit trying to make excuses for the Cobra, I have no reason to lie to you about my car. I admit it runs unusually strong for a 350 but it all adds up if you look at the numbers. It dropped a valve and trashed the motor last night though so I wont be able to show you how it runs on spray. Its getting a bbc now, so 800-900hp is coming soon.

You did! I know you don't want anyone bringing that thread back, but you clearly stated you had shorty headers and RHS 180cc heads.

Yup, the switch popped off the first time when i punched it from behind them. I actually felt it stop spraying when it came off, listen to how different the car sounds between me flooring it behind them and when I race the Cobra. It was a freak of a motor, keyword "was". Im gonna miss her, now onto to bigger and better things though.

What heads are on it now and is your exhaust setup? What is the build plan for the new setup?

Car actually surprised me and I know that 3rd gens are more than capable. Good job!

Had RHS 200cc heads and Hooker lts w/true 3" duals. New setup will be large cube bbc w/AFR heads and a massive hyd. roller, about a 12k build so Ive got a lil while til its done. Nothing was too radical with the old setup, just the right combination of parts and a 3150lb car with a t-56

Well youll never see it but im sure a rematch will be in order in a few months when i get done with my new build. Trust me, it was insane to spray that car, on a 150shot it ran down alot of really fast cars. Im sure my new motor will embarass the old one though.
