The GTR is more consistent and is easier to achieve better times. If you go on over to the Corvetteforum, the top 10 list goes from 11.2-12.5 with mph ranging from 118-129(stock).

If you look at the current top 10 fastest C6Z's, you will see a difference in 1.5 seconds and 10mph. The GTR's trans is similar to an auto, so.........you will receive more consistent times. I mentioned my neighbors GTR awhile back, in which he ran a 11.67, 11.72, 11.70(lc) at 119-121. With out launch control, he managed 11.9, 12.0x and 12.2(i think).
Basically you're insisting that an auto ls1 is not more accurate than a 6 speed.

It will not run circles around a GTR. The average lc GTR will run 11.5-11.7 at 121mph, which is enough to hold any Z06 through the 1/4. I suggest you read the Corvetteforum and see how many C6Z owners that are fortunate to own both cars.

Don't get me wrong, I like Corvette more than GTR, but I need to make a few points:
This is about bang-for-the-buck. The reason we all drive LSx is because it's the new Foxbody. If this was ten years ago, half of us would be driving around 5.0's.
The ZR1 is faster, yes, but it also more expensive. It's a half-victory.
This test should have been Z06 vs GTR
And next year it should be ZR1 vs V-Spec
Don't get me wrong, I think the Z06 could still take the GTR, and I'm confident that the ZR1 will take the V-Spec, but I think that would be a more apples to apples comparison. I mean, c'mon, I want to see a 60 grand American car stomping on a 100 grand Japanese car just as much as the next guy.

Radials are not stock. And I did not say that GTR was faster, I said it was more consistent and will put down better times 80% of the time. It is not easy to drive the Z06 to constant 11.5's-12.0 without major wheel hop.

The fastest stock GTR so far is an 11.44 at 124 which would place it 4th on that list.
You're a baffon if you believe a GTR runs 112 traps. Car&Driver ran a low mph since they where having issues with the car.

Individual test have confirmed that the average GTR runs mid 11's using launch control and high to 11's low 12's without. I suggest you watch more videos if you think they run 13's.

Heres the time slip with the GT-R..... and a video... My friend missed me doing 11.5 @ 121.7. I wasn't really mad at all he was filming for our annual shootout and had to shoot so many cars for the night. When we ran the 11.5 he had stepped away for a minute to get something to eat. He felt bad. Hey maybe somebody else caught a vid of that pass as there were others filming and it will probably will show up...somewhere. They usually do good runs or bad.
BTW they started a Fast list over on the GT-R site. Right now Michaels 11.5 run is the fastest stock GT-R time so far.....look out Ranger

c6zo6s run mid to low 11s at 123ish..
again, gtr on the DRAG STRIP isnt much competition for the c6s.. GIVEN THAT THE PERSON IN BOTH CARS CAN DRIVE FOR TWO *****...

You still are not understanding that the average Z06 owner does not run mid to low 11's. This is why Im saying that the GTR will be more consistent and will allow for better times at the track. Unless you have two equal drivers(most likely will not be the case) the GTR will win 8/10. Again, I know the Z06 is faster, but this will not show 100% at the track.
