that r1 is a thing of beauty! Harley's suck all you get when you buy one of those is the name. I have ridden and been around plenty of Harleys and for half the price you can buy a yamaha or honda that ride nicer and performs better but hey that is my opinion.

The R1 is DEFF one of the better looking jap bikes out there. Duc's 999R(no one likes it)is beautiful too me. Love it. MV makes gorgeous bikes, we'll see how Harley does with that brand. KTM is also a pretty bike to ME. The new RC in that awesome orange. Nice.
The ZX14 is a great improvement over the 12R and last years 14. Got a buddy with a 07 Gixxer1000 wanted a new Busa, but didn't end up liking it, so he kept his 1000. Who knows.

All the bikes are pretty tight in the open class in terms of performance.

Neither... The New 10r has the same Hp as both and weighs a Significant amount less.

Yep I've experienced the same with my R1. The xtra weight of the busa kills it, assuming the rider of the liter bike doesn't make up for the weight around his belly.

Busa. F.T.W. now, as of next year gixxer 1k. with a 193 hp and over a hundred pounds lighter than the 14 or the busa, it will be the new king.

I think they are both fat ugly pigs. Only good in a straight line. Yes they are fast , but the liter bikes arent that far enough behind to make me want one. 1k for me.

From what I've seen street racing, the 08 Busa is the bike to beat.

Jeez, what crawled up ur butthole? i didn't say they feel slow or are slow. all i said was they are bulky and overwight...oh and ugly. so they are the fastest thing in a straight line, if that makes them the best in your eyes, then fine...i have an opinion too.

yes i may be biased away from jap bikes, not tryin to hide that. i've ridin motorcross for 19 out of my 23 years of life, and choose not to ride what everyone else rides (jap bikes). i prefer euro stuff because 1) fewer people have it 2) they use more parts that are top of the line from the factory 3) i prefer the styling.

i suppose i was influenced by my dad. he has a '74 Ducati 750 sport, ' 74 Ducati 500 Desmo, '73 Ducati 450RT, '73 Moto Guzzi V7 sport, '74 Triumph Hurricane, and about 20 Montesas - all in mint shape - and for dirt bikes he's had KTM, Husaberg, and currently has a TM. so yes i am biased, but that doesn't make me a moron...or does it?
