What kind of power did it make? I either didn't see, or glanced over, any numbers.

I dont think that thing could really handle much more then the 600 or so horse it put out. Its obviously not a drag car, I certainly wouldnt want any more then that with such a small displacement motor. Im sure everything on that car was well thought out before it was built, I bet it will rape every other car in its class.

Awesome car!

That car is set-up to be a road course demon. The design of the lower control arms is nothing short of pure genius. Agreed, the aerodynamic design of the body is highly functional.

Haha... You beat me to the PUNCH!

Well they both did one hell of a great job. Where did the rear lower control arms come from?

2.

I just don't care for the terrible body panel fitness and the 4 front mounted splitters/spoilers on the nose. But I haven't seen pictures of it back from the paint shop yet so maybe they addressed all that.

Beyond that, DAMN. AMS does some quality work.

OK, we get it, you don't like the vehicle discussed in this thread. So, please stop & move on to a thread that interests you. Thanks

T56, what about the rear lower control arms; any information?

I'll ask Joe when I see him, probably tomorrow. I'm always over there moochin' the band saw or something, plus they accept deliveries for my shop across the street.

It hasn't been back for final body/paint work yet. I assure you that when it leaves it will be amazing. Greg does insane work, easily the best around. His cars have won at several of the larger shows, guy is super talented. He was supposed to build a studebaker truck for Boyd Coddington before he died. You know you're good when "pros" want YOU to build their ****.

I always mean to take my camera there, but always forget. Its a small shop in this tiny tiny little shithole town, but he rolls out some crazy stuff.

wondering how long until someone takes an evo, and chops the top on it, and makes it look like something else than a little square sedan, and more like an aerodynamic sports car. Their drivetrain is amazing... and thats where the amazing stops in my opinion. I think if someone re designed the bodies completely with that drive train, there would be a dominating car. I guess you can argue thats what the new nissan gtr is... but theres my point. 80g for it, and only 40g's for these. Wonder why mitsubishi stays with just a evo and doesnt move onto something sleeker looking. Whats the point of having back seats if you are going to fill them with roll bars anyway? A paradox i dont want to think too hard about.
