Someone would undoubtedly yell out: "Supercharge It!!"

Zr1's are collectors items. If he buys the car and keeps it for a number of years he could sell it and get twice what he paid for it or more and he would have more than enough for retirement. Forget that bitch. I bet she never thought of that.

I would presume she is also wrong about the depreciation value this car would take. I doubt it would be such a high percent like she said, she has no clue that its not your average vette, she automaticly assumes its just a vette that costs alot. Exotics dont depreciate as much and as quick and this car is in that class. Am I wrong?

You guys forget his house is paid for as well. That is money in the bank.
I would buy the car as well. That car will appreciate in value in a short time.
Rare cars are better to buy into than the stock market!

are you kidding? what a piece of work. the guy has 150k in savings, most likely no debt, age 45 and she says he can't afford a ZR1. he's still working and making more money. sure he could put more toward retirement, but that's still 15 to 20 years away!!! she is such a typical liberal woman...'ur a financially responsible man. no u can't!'

Why is there argument over this man's finances? The whole point is, "why call a muff diving, taco muncher & ask for permission about something that is none of her split licking business?" No doubt, she's the ***** wearer of the Family. So, maybe the guys w/ pussies that call her are simply looking for a good screwin'? Just a theory.

that is pretty much how i live my life. i dont want to be 70 and think "i wish i would have done that when my body was capable of doing it". life is about experience's and having fun. i was not born to work my *** off and put every penny in savings just to retire and have no fun in my life.

She is an idiot, I would have told him to buy it for sure. The way I look at it is that its only money and you only live once! As long as you have enough money to be stable I say why the hell not!

I never understood that part of the show. Either you have the money for somthing, or you dont. He HAD the money. Is it smart? Is it the right time? Those are not the questions here. The question is simply "Can I afford it?" Who the **** is she to say he cant afford it? She is WRONG!

If I were to ask her if I can afford my car when I was about to buy it, she would have clearly said NO! But look... I bought it, paid it off, & im fine. So **** You Suze!

refinance his house on a low fixed rate for a long period of time...allow the 150k to draw enough interest to pay the car payment on a auto pay..he gets the car keeps the money and dies before its paid off.

If he doesn't ever want to retire, then I would say go for it. If he plans on retiring, he is already in deep $hit. I have spoken with people that have 900k in retirement that retired at 55 and are scared. If you think about how much it actually cost to maintain a family, bills, property taxes, etc, it adds up very quickly when you don't have an income. If he was smart, he would invest that 150k and make a huge return in 10 years.........Or he could just have fun now and buy the vette Hell, I think I could sleep in a ZR1 for a while lol
