I'm on a road trip right now in the Western and Southwestern US. Currently holed up in Breckenridge and based out of SoCal. I'll post some of the best pics in this thread for you guys... Hopefully more will come.
Any suggestions for places, let me know!

And for ***** and giggles, my sleeping arrangements - with the help of Reflectix:

It got cold enough for ice to form on the outside of my car on the first night (2nd pic in this post was taken that morning), and I slept in it and didn't die. I am definitely buying a good sleeping bag before I sleep in it again, though. The Reflectix doesn't help much after a while without a source of ambient heat, but at least it offers privacy.

Awesome pics and scenery dude. What camera you using? That first pic is just screaming to be lightened/brightened up a bit in Photoshop. Would make a great desktop for ya.

Thanks dued.
Thanks man, I've been getting a lot of funny looks. Most of them are "what the hell kind of car is that, and what is it doing in this town"
OR
"what the hell is that person thinking, driving that car in the snow??"
I plan to live long enough to make it to Bob's at least one more time.

Some advice if you do:
- Finish all routine maintenance items and repairs before leaving.
- Make sure to do it in good weather (spring/fall) or you won't have too much fun in the rain/ice. I'm running summer tires now but I also have at least 100 less HP to the wheels with this 3.8L V6, so run all-seasons on some stock rims unless you feel you can do it with summer tires and don't mind wearing on them.
- If you have adjustable suspension, adjust it to be softer.
- If you plan on sleeping in your car or won't need to hold more than 2 people, take out the back seats so you have more room and can fold your seat back all the way.
- Make sure you have a spare/jack.
- Get some lumbar support. Camaro/v6Firebird seats need it bad.

Looks good but it's so dark in the foreground you lost some of the lines of the car. The car is more the subject of the pic than the background, even though the background is cool as hell. Hope you don't mind, but here's my quick edit. It's all personal preference. You may not like it. Not trying to offend.

Just lightened up the shadows a bit, and added a slight vignette.
