The funniest thing about that was you couldn't even hear the cobra blow their doors off.
While we are laughing at ricers, I kept dead even with a Nissan 300zx. Ran him from 60-100 in a bone stock 91 Cadillac Brougham, 350 TBI(yes, Cadillac ran a Chevy 350 TBI from 90-93)

haha well i would consider it rice... sounds like a fart can. looks like a ricer. and moves pretty much the same speed as a ricer... if it is to get beat by a convertible mustang that was behind them.... but ya the turbo ones (ive heard) are pretty quick. havent raced one yet. but would def love to race one. i still think i would KILL one if we raced.

I do not think you would KILL one, as you said. In your sig you only ran a 13.5, the TT 300ZX is good for a mid-high 13 sec. pass, if its modded forget it.

On the 300zx, it was definetly not a twin turbo model. I still thought the N/A cars had more ***** than that, I thought they'd run a low 15/high 14 quarter mile. Maybe the guy couldn't drive or it wasn't running right(very possible considering some of them are now ragged out $2500 POS's and the person can't afford to fix it)
Still a cool *** car, I like the looks 100x better than a Supra or RX-7.

ya i ran 13.5 revved at 2000 rpm and barley launching it. 107 mph.. trust me. for whats done to my car it runs REALLY strong. my car def could get into the high 12's. i have beaten camaros, mustangs, ricers, with more mods then mine and have won. so ya if i raced a stock TT 300ZX i know i would beat it. raced against an 2001 mustang cobra with independent rear suspension, Flowmaster exhaust, K&N intake, Accufab Throttle Body, MM Subframe Connectors, SCT Tune, Hurst Shifter. killed that. raced an 2000 stage 2+ Audi S4 with FMIC and exhaust, running on 15psi boost and beat that also... so i dont know? maybe not KILL a 300zx but i would def beat it.

Or was 13.5 your best of the day? The car may be good for high 12's, but is the driver? Im not meaning to offend or call out, but the driver mod is pretty much the best mod you can have. Not everyone is a good driver no matter what they claim. Thread Starter

well im not a person who can just randomly go to the track every other day and make passes.... for one im a college student dont have the funds to be paying to drag race at a strip and always be buying new tires because this camaro is my DD and the DR tires i have on now are the only tires i got on the back. cant be wasting my tires thread.... and i dont wanna **** up my transmission or clutch because my car is due for a new one. and no i didnt do one run. i did about 6 passes. which 13.5 was the best pass. im not going to put up all of my times in my sig? and also it was my first time at a drag strip.. so if you have ever been to a drag strip you will know that it is COMPLETELY different then on the streets.... so i wasnt use to the tree and all that. i am a very good driver. yes on the streets. and a noob to drag strips.. only been once. if i had the money to be wasting tires and not giving a **** about my car braking i would be at the strip. but im not and the closest strip is 2 half hours away... sorry
once i get some $$$ and a new clutch ill go to the drag strip and pull a high 12's pass just for you alright.

I myself am also a college student and work part time...also watch out running those DR's and launching on a stock rear and stock driveshaft. I already shreaded my driveshaft doing a burnout with slicks on...thank God I didn't blow the rear.
