Default New STS numbers

Well I just got back from getting the car retuned at Nelson Performance after some changes I made to my setup. I knew my limiting factor was my fuel system so thats why I could not push it any further. Next upgrade fuel system and going for 650whp. This run was at 12psi but had to cut it short due to the fuel situation. 537/501

and here is the run.

Hmmm, interesting. Seems like pretty solid numbers. A buddy of mine made 515/584 with the 67mm intercooled sts kit on a bone stock '99 85k LS1, minus 918 springs, on 10psi. That is through a 6 speed though too, how big of stall you running through the 4l80?

How did you modify the STS kit? Do you like it or would go a custom rear mount if you had to do it again?

Nice numbers.

The stall is a 3k but all I can get on the footbrake is 2200.

Nice numbers.
Well the only parts still sts is the oil pump with its harness, the long charge pipe on the side underneath and a 6inch piece where the IAT is and also the down pipe section. I bought the kit used to begin with for cheap so I am not complaining then added an ebay intercooler with piping kit, a bigger better 76mm turbonetics turbo, and small misc. stuff.

I say all you need from it is the long piece underneath to make it simplier and buy everything else you need seperate.

I had the sts kit and those same rims, haha. oh and the same mileage too. kind of weird. still got the rims, but god i miss that sts. the sound of it was amazing. i was only running it on either 5 or 7 psi, i forgot, and it put down around 400/420 on the dyno. but mine was the 67mm turbo and no heads either. nice vid and nice numbers too.

good luck with making the 630rwhp!

My STS car made about 520/530 on 7.5psi before I started having problems with valvetrain (more than likely caused by late shifts) now im on to a 370 with a front mount build

good luck bro
