Trans Am FINISHED

This car has been on a journey since december, had a guy build me a motor and it didnt turn out the way i wanted, just didnt run right or anything, so i parked the car in the garage and said, im going to fix the car myself, being a senior in high school i didnt have much time to work on it, so one weekend i tore the car down, and called Texas-Speed, they set me up with the PRC stg 2.5 5.3L heads and the 233/239 cam, and found a good deal on a FAST 92/92 setup, got the car finished tuesday night and im very happy with the results, took it down to Dyno & Performance Thursday were John made me a X-pipe with Borla XR-1's dumped, the car sounds amazing, here are some pics i took through the process, ENJOY

PRC STG2.5 5.3L HEADS AND TEXAS SPEED 233/239 CAM

CAM AND TIMING CHAIN COVER ON

HEADS, CAM, AND INTAKE ON

HARDLAND SHARP ROCKERS INSTALLED

FINISHED PRODUCT

i envy your a senior and own a trans am + cobra, but doing that type of work yourself is impressive, to me at least. nice ride.

I think he made that emblem. I saw one floating around this board where it was crafted in shop or something...

ahhh i need sound clips asap. I cant find anyone who is running xr-1 TDs on an LS1 or LT1 and im really considering getting some.

hell if no just switch over to a T56 be a lot more fun and get more power out of that motor.

switching to a T56 has actually crossed my mind a few times, and MTBSully the XR-1's sound amazing, im having it tuned tomarow, and ill get yall some sound clips

Dumps on a Trans-Am?? Ehhh looks good on a Camaro but I never really liked it on a T/A since it has the openings for the exhuast.

Sick set-up though, must be nice...
