sorry but honestly after you get the money from the insurance company i would go to your "friend driver," first beat his ***,
second tell him to give you money for what he did to your car.... or dont beat his ***. because then he might not wanna pay you

oh man that's a nasty wreck. i have heard the main problem with getting thrown is the car rolls over you. You got lucky and somebody was watching over you. I'd for sure beat the **** outta your "douchebag friend" that ran. Then buy the car back and part out what you can.

One thing to note not that it would impact the cars value but in MA the insurance company at one point waqnted to know all the "aftermarket performance modifications" on the car. My guess is failing to report mods could result in getting screwed by commerce insurance and probably others (Commerce was concerned about it on a few of my vehicles in the past but these days I'm buying through a group discount at work
).

Depending on your year and your mileage and your insurance company.. They will do a market study of similar vehicles being sold by dealers in your area. This may or may not be good for you depending on the market for f-bodys there. My 54K mile WS6 that i totaled i received a settlement of 17K. way above blue book value. Hopefully you had it towed to your house. Because it gets harder to get back if theyve towed it to a yard somewhere.
But damn dude!! Where your effin seatbelt!!!! I rolled mine over and i didnt get a scratch on me. But it looks like yours may have been a little worse. Youre one lucky **** thats for sure!

Those tires may be the end of the line. You will have to beat the payment out of your pal.

dude you need to go to the lot with your car and switch the tires out with the regular street tires. If the insurance company looks at those and knows what they are they are liable to **** can the whole deal. ive seen it happen. It was luckily only about 2500 dollars damage in his case though. Switch them while you can.
edit: If in fact those are drag radials on there why on earth would you let your buddy drive the car. I mean if i was in that position I wouldnt let my buddy drive my car with tires that dont act like everyday tires on otherwise normal cars.

Insurance will use any reason to bawk at something.
And having driven on them myself daily, they are not the same on sand/dust for example.
Not everyone knows how to handle in them - they are not autocross tires.
