what are you shooting with?

i'll be honest. the shots with the poles in it obstruct the car/monster can

sky is blow way out

pictures are soft

a canon rebel xs 10.1mp
we just thought it was cool that the cars would fit inbetween them.
If your talking about the overcast yea it rained all day thats why most pics are in water cars were dirty and roads were wet.
what do you mean the pics are soft.
any feed back is welcome good or bad

soft = non sharp

the overcast idea does work. one of the problems with over cast is getting the whiteout like you have gotten in your pics. for instance like below:


i am guessing you are shooting and dumping them out of the camera? do you have photoshop? my suggestion is to switch the camera to raw and go out and reshoot some pics and try post processing. to me doing this is the best part of popping out pictures. it gives you a never ending option of what to do with your pictures. once you get the idea and feeling you'll be hooked.

when you shoot in raw you can edit and edit without ever destroying the images quality. when you load them up you can adjust all kinds of things in the photo before it is sent into photoshop. say the picture is a little dark. you can adjust this with bumping the exposure in a raw converter.

yea the clouds and color of the car looks better but the pic looks grainy or chopped up to me. thanks for the advice ill get some more of her pics and post em

i'm not seeing grainy but the point of it is to make the colors pop out more.
