2010 Camaro Jacked in Detroit Burbs
One advantage of living around "Detroit" is seeing a lot of pre-production cars riding around in various stages of development. We’ve all followed the 2010 Camaro via spy shots and now that it’s in production we’ll be seeing a lot more around town. Landing a gig on a high profile car like the Camaro is an engineers dream and another perk is to take fleet cars home overnight and for the weekends.

One unlucky engineer for Chevrolet recently took a 2010 Camaro home for the weekend only to find the wheels and tires jacked Sunday morning in his own driveway. To follow the discussion visit the Camaro5.com message board.

The crafty thieves didn’t even trade out for cinder blocks and left the Camaro resting on its subframe. Further analysis at the GM engineering garage will have to be done to determine damage. As with any sports car, parts thieves and chop shops are currently making their list and checking it twice for 2010 Camaro parts. 2010 Camaro owners beware!

Funny part is EVERYONE will know who stole them as soon as they show up on another car. ******* dummies stealing something that is so new it is almost unique.
