I'd have a lot more respect for the guy if he wasn't so cocky and gung-ho about "I hate everything non-electric, you're causing cancer"

I agree and it's not like lithium Ion batteries are the most eco friendly things either. The production and the waste of those batteries is pretty terrible as well.
