Default LS3 C6 vs tuned 116mph+ 335i

This actually happened a few months back but I figured you guys would enjoy it regardless. The guy in the bimmer is a friend of mine, and this happened on the way to a private track rental. We knew what his car would run, just wanted to do a bit of a comparo.

335i mods: Procede V2, dual cone intake, race gas...ran multiple 12.3@116+ times later in the day.

C6 mods: Vararam, ported TB, and a 180+lb cameraman passenger to do the filming, no dyno or track times

Onto the festivities! We didn't get to do any honking...because he jumped me as soon as I pulled up next to him So I just went for it. We ran it up to about 130 or so, and no he did not let out.

I attribute this to two things, and they are both probably equally related.

1. He jumped me. We're friends and were just messing around so it's no big deal.

2. The L92 heads flow SO well that the LS3 cars are just flat out MONSTERS on the highway.

Nice kill! I love the looks of those 335i's. Looks like they can move out pretty damn well with some basic mods!

Yeah they are sweet for sure. Would be a great daily driver car because they are so refined and comfy, and with some simple tuning mods can be insanely fast. The bottleneck right now is the turbos, they're built into the exhaust manifolds and at this time there are no turbo upgrade kits available. (I spend a lot of time with some of my bimmer friends)
