i say if you cant afford the turbo/s now sell it and build something you can afford to finish or just rebuild it with new pistons/cam

there is a video on streetfire that has a low comp vette 408ci still putting down 490 i think well it was beating a pullied cobra

I cant afford the turbo now but im not going abandon the setup just because i lost against a car thats faster then me, like i said this car has bigger purpose, i didnt built the car so i can be faster then pullied cobras im building it so i can be faster then a pulley and ported blower see were i am going with this lol, im not upset that i lost if i was i wouldnt be posting the vid, and i dont mine everyones opinion on the race thats why i posted it, you can slam my car for all i care it does not bother me, cuz one day (hoping that day come soon) ill have a smile on my face when that turbo is in my car and ill have the last laught

I say dont worry about other peoples builds. jesus christ you guys are ridiculous. The guys are almost as bad as the idiots that comment on youtube. Would love to see the car when its finally done.


*and for the record I have seen alot more than 490 out of a 408. My buddy made 540 wheel in a vette with higher drivetrain loss and that was on a conservative nitrous tune

Depends on the compression, solid roller, heads, etc. Compression plays a huge part in what a car puts out NA. This motor could have been made for more boost then the one you saw, who knows.

i said it was 490 and low compression and this guy knew he was gonna get bashed when he posted a video of a 420hp 408
