Default Video of the Camaro drifting

Video of the Camaro drifting at the recent Mineral Wells event. Derrick was driving, i'm not good enough to connect the course yet. Towards the end there is a somewhat long burnout, with the tire coming apart towards the end.

NICE!!!

What size tires are you running front and back? And are the back tires stretched over the rims, like the rims are wider then the tires? Cant really describe it lol.

Looks like as long as you think your skull is as hard as a helmet you should be ok.

yeah items such as helmets, 5 point harness, roll bar, things that aren't readily visible. only reason I ask is I am interested in drifting my Camaro very soon.

Thanks guys - it is a lot of fun.

Tires - i'm running 245's in the video, but i'll run what ever i have

Safety - varies by track and organization. At these practice events, where there is nothing to hit (flat, large open concrete pad) there is not much needed for single car runs. We also have full caged cars for tandem pro-level events.

The el camino was mine, and we did get second, Vaughn Gitten JR won first driving a 240sx. Harry in the BMW drove well, but i don't remember where he finished. www.BubbaDrift.com has photos and more from back then.

GOD THATS SICK!!!!!! i wanna startr drifting so bad. I think im going to start on my purpose-built-drifter this winter. My 96 WS6 is getting an ls1 or ls6, and the current LT1/T56 is going into my poor beat up 94 v-6. Im going to strip it and install a cage and adjustable suspension. I need to find a rear end to rebuild and lock up. But i will be sideways very soon!
