People are like that at first but once you own one you wont regret it . I will not say that they are all nice and sweet because there are some bad dogs out there but they are doing what they are trained to do . As you can see they are great with kids but u have to be very stern with the bully breed if they get over on you one time its hard to correct them .THEY ARE HARD HEADED LOL

Biggest I've ever seen was down on Long Island. Drug dealer who sells to some big names, and has some nasty lowriders. Think it was "House of Pits and Staffs". I know he had a website, but I can't find it anymore. That was probably 5 years ago.
Never seen anything else like it.

the last set of pictures are pitiful examples of a nice looking pit.. one looks starved, one you can tell it has been fought by looking at its ears...
why post pics like that?
horrible example of the breed..
BTW, what does the "real" thing mean?
im going to guess dogs that have been neglected and mistreated to make mean and not fed... chained up day in and day out... yes... thats the "real" thing..

the last set of pictures are pitiful examples of a nice looking pit.. one looks starved, one you can tell it has been fought by looking at its ears...

What do i mean by real Pit Bull?
A real Pit should look something like this depending how much exercise and diet. Small, Light and all musle.
And this is what is called Bully style Pit. Fat(80 to 130lbs), lazy and useless.
Some reading moterial.

got picked up by a certain group of people that began applying it
not to a specific breed or category of breeds, but to a specific look
within a breed. That breed? The American Pit Bull Terrier. The

i dont consider those "conditioned".. are they muscular? yes.. but so is mine.. he weighs just under 90 lbs while my girl weighs just under 70 lbs.. niether are "fat" or look "useless"..
what do you need them to do besides love on you?

i have been around dogs my entire life.. my mom has been a vet since i was born.. i know a thing or two..

no way i would want one of my dogs to look like that.. especially the one with its ears... well, lack there of..
and i like mine with a little bit more meat, not fat by any means.. cause that does look funny.. but more than the dogs posted..

He was about 9 months old in that picture. I still call him my dog even tho my parents sold him without even ******* asking me about it. 
My girlfriend has his brother so I get to see him a lot. They have the same personalities. Very talkative and playful

here is our dog, he is only 8 months old and is already 110 lbs, he is supposed to be 220. He could probably eat some of these pits whole lol na hes a sweet heart he loves the baby.
these pics dont really show how big he is ill have to post some up later but remember he is only HALF grown his dad was almost as tall as me lol

To those that have been helpful thank, and to those that want to argue over the pit breed please start a new thread.
I still havent found what i am looking for ........i just remember the dog being in the middle of a picture thread and the owener was saying that he wanted to use his dogs next to cars for some good pics. ohh well.......i want to get a black or blue pit here real soon.
