Pits are awesome dogs! The one we had was not so big but stocky as hell!

And ya you have to remember that these dogs are only as mean as the owner trains them to be. Like my dog was the nicest thing in the world, never opened its mouth to bite anyone ever. Only thing it could do was whip you to death with his tail ha. But we have a german shepherd now. Also a big fan of those dogs.

Not necessarily a genetic mutation, but myostation levels can be chemically reduced.

Myostatin prevents you from getting too muscular.

Yeah, he's a good dog! I let my dad take care of him one day and he got hit by a Silverado that was speeding down my parent's road. He ended up having to have his fang removed but other than that he was fine. Now his tongue hangs out on that side.

Before he lost his fang.

When I'm harvesting or really busy I leave him with my mother. Here he is visiting me at work.

i still love my mutt(Boxer,Pitt,German Shepperd) she wondered in our garage and is the smartest dog ive ever met...despite being stubborn occasionally. she opens doors, was house broken when we found her, knows all the simple tricks...and chews up waters hoses(hates baths)
Btw no she wasnt owned already we put up signs and checked to see if anyone had lost a dog, if it was im glad we took her anyway she was really underweight and could barely walk when she came to us.

I got a beagle now, but I've been around pitts and rotts the last 5-8 years. I love them both. I think pitts look so much better with their ears unclipped.

Our beagle is about the smallest dog I would ever want. My wife wanted her, so she's with us. I was goign to wait another yr or 2 and get something bigger, but she found us, so it's hard to turn her away. She's 26 lbs but I like 80+ pound dogs for the most part.

Its the dog food you use that gives her gas.
Make your own and you save money and nasal cavities.

I have a Newfoundland. Huge teddy bear of a dog.

Wish I had better pics of my Dog Apollo he is a stout mf'r. Great with other dogs have never seen him be agressive with any other dog ever. His shoulders are probably bigger than mine lol... Love the bread (AmStaffs)
