At what miles do you guys stop modding your cars? Only thing I think about. I'm afraid if I get really high miles that it's pointless to keep modding. Is that just my crazy head talking ****?

The point I stop modding is when the body welds start noticeably cracking.

My Jeeps body welds are cracking in a bunch of places. I have seen F-bodies with cracking body welds/seams, namely where the rear QPs meet the sail panel and hatch... So, it does happen. Hopefully the 3 point subframe connectors help prolong its life a little bit.

By bobs99slpss at 2011-09-29 140 k

boricua,i dont think its pointless to mod or stop modding,im making my car into what i want it,will i ever get my money back out of it ,,,, no , but if your going to mod and sell your going to take a huge loss anyway, if your going to mod and keep its money well spent.my plan is to go replace, rebuild every aspect of the car, so when its done miles are not going to matter, and honest even if i started with a car with say 50 k, half the stock crap has to get replaced or rebuilt anyway lol,so if your going to keep your ride for a good while mod away, i hope you get what im trying to say ,
