So you think you can drive?? Car is a 1992 Audi S2 (5cylinder,2.2 litre turbocharged).
This is a motorsport festival we have every year i Norway, these cars show off and some are pretty sick.

^^ i think he means to place emphasis on the difficulty of car control in this particular aspect of driving.
I'm sure it was fun to watch, but watching an in-car video of someone drifting is much more exciting with a helmet cam, or outside of the vehicles. otherwise you're watching the sides of the road most of the time.

That was very cool!! Did he break something at the end? That or he got hit maybe? 
That car sure had some muscle to it! I imagine it wasn't very fun to be on the track with that guy though. I'd be pissed if the guy in front of me was drifting around every corner and made it difficult to pass him.

nope, that was his tires
i would guess with AWD you would need at least 500 rwhp or more to do the things he did.. also this car would probably do an easy 10 sec quarter mile.

I think there is something wrong with his setup. If he wants to have a quick time around the track he shouldn't be sliding around so much. He's going to get lapped at the rate he's at...

BTW (just to be a dick
) in the drifting world, AWD is frowned upon because you can't follow the same line as RWD drivers and he doesn't have nearly as much wheelspin. Drifting is like iceskating (and equally lame in the spectator realm, though fun to mess around with) it is ofcourse judged and the awd cars just don't produce the show that the judges and spectators expect/want. Though what he is doing is challenging and he seems good at it, I doubt he would qualify at a drifting comp.

It's not a race or anything, it's just a show-off event. I've seen countless videos of this event on Youtube and Streetfire.
Actually after a tiny bit of researching (aka Yahoo search of Gatebil Festival) I found the official site with a description of the event and some backround:
