I just figured I'd post up a few videos for you guys of the new 3" electric cutout I installed closed vs open. Second post has the open cutout video as they both wouldn't post in the first post. Clearly the video doesn't do the "loudness factor" justice on either video, especially the open cutout, but it gives you an idea of the sound difference. To be honest, I really don't like the sound of it open when driving around. I think it sounds 20 times better through the Magnaflow.

Relevant mods are: LS6 heads, 224/228 581/588 113 LSA cam, Pacesetter LTs and ORY, (cutout on the straight pipe), Magnaflow catback

QTP 3" electric cutout. Had the pipe welded in REAL nice by Eastside Performance, then installed and wired the electric cutout in my garage. It came out mint and it's insanely loud when I open it.

my buddy has a built 12:1 HC car with a g5x3 and a 4 inch cutout its REDICULOUS opened. like a funny car.

I don't like driving around with my cutout open either, damn car shakes and vibrates so bad. I only like the cutout sound at idle and wide open otherwise it sounds like ****.
My lil 224 cam sounds like a dragster with the cutout open, amazing how stealthy the slp dual dual is. I set the idle at 900 rpm but even when it's at 1000 rpm it lopes like an SOB!
