Default Picture resize for avatar

Can the below gif file be resized to fit the avatar requirements for this board? If anyone can do this for me, I would greatly appreciate it, as I have no idea how to resize pictures of any sort.

TIA, Brett

Hmmm, then why, when I try to upload the image from my hard drive to the avatar page, does it tell me that the image is too large. The error box that pops up says:That image is too large. The maximum dimensions are 85 by 100 pixels. This image is 100 X 100 pixels, so I wanted to see if it could be resized a bit smaller.
