I can see both sides. It's a cute "kids" pic and I'm sure she'll think it's awesome when she's older.
On the other hand, you could have suggested that she smile... she's just a kid. The look on her face says "I'm a bad girl posing on a car and this is serious business" .... a bit inappropriate, IMHO (which obviously isn't worth anything because I'm just a newb with a low post count).
It would be A-Okay all around if the guy shooting the camera had simply said, "How about a big smile for picture?"...

Cute lil girl, but you would never catch me taking pics of my niece posing like that and posting them on the net for everyone to look at. I know your intentions are good and i shouldnt tell anyone how to raise their kid but just think of the deeper implementations next time.

+1... cute pic, my niece likes to ride shotgun with me when I visit her. She is about the same age. Hope she hasn't told you what my niece told me "When I grow up, can I have your car?"
