hey not trying to hijack but since this is all about converters i figured id ask, Im gonna have the mods in my sig for a while and im looking to buy a performabuilt tranny probably stage 1 because i wont be going over 500hp. Which stall would be good for me? the car is sometimes a dd when i cant get the gfs car so i need it to still be very streetable. Ive never driven a stalled auto before always just stock transmissions, what is it like? I see the videos and it looks like its alot better than stock

Great thread...what has to happen to put this in the auto sticky forum....Theirs a sticky for everything else...This should definetly be one of those...It might only start out with 5 vids, but I'm sure less than a year their would be 50+. It would help sponsers out with sales as well.. Everyone would benifit... ^^^01ss, you have over 15,000 post...Give the moderator or whomever a shout... Theirs no reason this shouldn't be a sticky..

Whoa, checked those videos... it seems alittle sluggish when just mildly driving but when you punch it the speedo just JUMPS up... ...damn...I may need to reconsider getting a stall before I complete my build. I just bought a level 6 FLT and its going to be going in right before Christmas (waiting on them to build it) and then I was going to get an 8.8" Rear as well as suspension stuff... I was going to do the motor and S/C last (toward the middle of next year) and I didn't want to stall without knowing what size stall I'll need for the new combo (didn't want to pay for a stall converter twice).. but that looks hecka fun when you really hit the gas.

Yeah that converter was sluggish and a little loose. I've got a new circle d loose turbo converter and a circle d tight turbo converter both in the shop currently, I should video both of those just for comparison.
