Looks nice...Make sure your pushrods are the correct length when changing the lifters.

The LS7 lifters are the same dimensionally as the LS1 lifters. OP you should be fine unless a lot of material was taken off the deck of the heads. Still wouldn't hurt to check though if you have the means.

I take it your going FI with that heads/cam combo. What are you planning on doing? What are your goals?

The ls7 lifters are taller than stock and some cams require shorter pushrods. Never hurts to double check and make sure everything is right.

yea from what i understand ls7 lifters are direct replacement for ls1 lifters they dont even make ls1 lifters anymore(actual GM lifters) but i will be checkking p/r length and preload and all that good stuff.

As for goals i want a d1 procharger eventually but as we all know parts are expensive as hell it took me almost a year to accumualte this little bunch lol and before i do the procharger im going to do all susspension ie tubular k member upper and lower control arms all that stuff then im going to get a clutch and a rear and finally the procharger only thing im worried about is maybe loosing a little power with the lower compression from these heads but we'll see how it turns out soon

I agree that it never hurts to check, but the LS7 lifters are direct replacements. If you button the motor back up without swapping anything but the lifters, new pushrods would not be needed.
