Those Cobalts are actually pretty impressive. This car is a bolt-on car with the stock engine and turbo.

that is the fastest turbo cobalts that we know of on our forum.
full bolt-on, maxed out turbo (past its efficiency range) etc
All in all, we are pretty happy about hitting 11s with very few mods. This car has the following-
ZZP turbo kit
78 lb valvesprings
ZZP catback
rear spring blockers
26" slicks

if you are curious the most common ss you will run into has a good tune and runs low 13's with a trap that would give a a high 12 second car a good run.

ie: 320/340 runnin around in a 3000lb body.

We now have HHR SS running 12's. 13.0 with tune only. GM did good with the 2.0 DI engine

yes sir, bolt-on ls1, the first race i was in my powerband, the second race i was at too low of an rpm in second.

yep these new cobalts are deffinitely fast! i love them! much better than the s/c'd ones. with a slightly bigger turbo, these cars will be spanking us.

I've got the Supercharged version 2.0 in my saturn ion, and that car feels quick for a little four cylinder. I'd love to DD an 09 turbo SS, I've heard they get mid 30's mpg on the highway also.

Yeah my car on 27psi took out most of what I came by and even was faster than my vette.

We have a 09 Cobalt SS. With a 2.3 60ft it went 14.4@105. The cars are sick.

But fk the straight line performance, it can turn just as good as any car in it's price range or over.

Wow I didn't realize these little bastards trap 105. I can't believe how fast some cars are now.

The video of the black cobalt is a 08 turbo stock car. That run was with a tune clutch CAI slicks and i believe a larger intercooler. But to be able to run 11's in a factory car with around 1500 in bolt ons and still get 30mpg is awsome. Thats why i have one.
