Just saying, those "monster" cams aren't needed to make power regardless of what you're putting it on.

again, Nice car and I will definitely be doing a 2 step on my turbo/th400 build to get some boost out of the whole hopefully
Thanks, I love the fact that my car is running so well with the cam I have. Your definately right, its nice to see that you don't need a huge cam to get down. I would recommend the Lingenfelter LNC-002 2-step. It has a timing retard function for N2O/Boost applications. I'm running the LNC-002 because I planning on spraying at the car eventually.

That's the one I was planning on getting... The LNC 003 doesn't retard timing like the 002 does from what I've heard and there aren't that many 2 step's to begin with... really, just Lingenfelter and MSD, both nearly the same price

Yes, there aren't to may to choose from. LPE, MSD, & Synergy. My buddy was having problems with his MSD the last time out. I'm not exactly sure what the problems were though. I also have a friend that has a synergy and it works great but it requires alot of wiring to install. The LPE unit is really easy to install and works great.

well, thanx for the advice... you might look into the future of turbocharging your bad *** car... the power to be had is insane! but so is cost

my 370 might make 350-400rwhp, but on boost it "should" make over 750+ if the th400 doesn't steal my numbers

I still think it's falling on it's face a little. I already have my "to do list" for next year.

UMI rear drag bar
VFN 3" SS hood
Fab a ram air scoop
Possibly rework the exhaust (4" Magnaflow race muffler dumped before axle)
Relocated the battery
Delete pass. airbag
Delete wipers/motors
Driver mod (loose weight)
Dial in the car some more (shock settings/tire psi)
RUN 10s!!!!

I weigh 235. I'm not sure what the car weighs yet b/c the scale was broke the last time I was at the track. The car put down 402rwhp and 375rwtq when the cam was originally installed and tunned. Back then the car had 17x11 ZR1s w/315 MT DRs, an LS7 clutch, and a Tru Trac posi. Now the car has 15x10 Billet Streetlites w/28x10.5-15 ET Drags, a Mcleod RST twindisk, and a spool. So the car might be making a little more power. I'm guess maybe 410-415rwhp now. I think I'm going to have the tune freshend up in the Spring so I'll post an update.

Yes, here's my weight reduction list so far.
A/C (compressor, condenser, lines, and accumulator)
ABS delete
Front/Rear bumper supports
Cruise/Traction control
AIR/EGR
Steering wheel/driver's airbag (replaced w/a MOMO)
Driver's seat (replaced w/a Corbeau Forza II)
Pass./Rear seats and belts
Insulation
Monsoon stereo (all speakers, amp, and head unit)
Spare tire/Jack
UMI k-member/lower control arms
Billet Specialties Streetlites
4" Spintech muffler removed at the track

I plan on also pulling the pass. airbag, wipers/motors, and get a VFN 3" SS hood.
