no i never got beat by scott. Not only that i wasnt even running the amount of boost i should be at. i was at 5 psi that day, cause i had my stock tranny in and at higher boost levels it would slip my spec4 clutch.

Well........................Rudy and I lined'em up! The plan was for him to come to my house to pick some crap up last night. I drop by his house and he gives me a ride home from Claremore.
The night was a perfect condition evening prime for max power and still keep some traction.....in theory.
We pull into my neighboor hood around 10:30ish. As I aproach my door to my home, I look around. It is so peaceful. Dead quiet. I didn't have the heart to start my car up.
We go in and tinker in my garage and drink. After a bit we decided to run them in the A.M.
NEXT DAY
It was even a better morning. We both are giddy to run our cars. As we are driving through Bville I press the loud pedal and the ol' girl screams. Yipp she feeling it today! I ease off.
Then from behind me I hear what can only be described as a jet engine behind me, come flyig by in the form of a black streak. Oh shyt. That is ALL I could think.LOL
We eventually get outside of town heading S on hwy 75. We even the cars out and just before we take the hit, we crest the top of a hill. Fortunately for us, the HIPO was busy and we backed off our gladitorial intentions.
A few more miles down the road we get our chance. The highway clears up and we slow to the point I am in the 4500 range in 2nd. And we go.
Instantly Rudy jumps my asz and puts a car and a half on me by 110. It was great! I wanted to do it again. So I again we line up, I down shift to 3rd and smoke comes pooring out of my shifter area. Oh yeah....my clutch.
We pull over and I check under the hood to make sure and I say phuque it!! Lets pull out and go. Traffic opens up VERY favorablely. I swing out to the far lane and he is inside. We even up the cars and look over at each other.
Horns are WORTHLESS for me as my car is to loud to hear one. So eye contact is made and we both go.
This time I get out front. I bang 2nd gear and he catches up to me a bit and is at my door. 3rd gear comes and we are fender to fender with a nose advantage to me.
4th gear flawlessly assumes its position and pulls hard for a micro second then my clutch starts going. And we backed out at that point. We took the cars to 130-140 mph.
Over all we both are very satisfied with our cars. Had a great time and made my work day go by a lot better than I had hoped.
Love that turbo sound man and I want boost bad! Then moments like this remind me my little 370 is a beast too.
I would best describe the difference between our cars as one is a scalple and the other is a sledge hammer. Both are killers it just depends on how you want to do it.
