443LSX Open 4 inch cutout
When i bought the car it had a LSX 454 setup, during it life (3k miles) it burnt a unbelievable amount of oil. So we shortened the stroke from 4.125 to 4, and went from a 4.187 bore to 4.20. The iron block utilizing a 4.125 stroke is not a good idea with nitrous pistons, the ringlands are to low, and can sometimes rock at the bottom of the cylinder and suck up oil. The new 4 inch setup also allows it to rev higher and quicker. Also the cylinders were not properly bored, looked like a slip and slide. It gave me a chance to upgrade almost every part of the motor.

It made 566/555. At 3500 it is making over 500trq. I think it should crank out a little more. When it went on the dyno, the motor only had 150 miles on it, i think the rings are finally seated now. Gonna put it back on soon. Shooting for 575.
