My 67 Chevelle Malibu. Me and my dad did it all up. I built a 327 for my graduation project and then stuck it in this beast. Originally a 283/Powerslide car. Now its a 327/4speed. Only had 53,000 miles on it when we got it. Painted it Marina Blue and dyed the top black. It was a really ugly light green with a cream top Drives great but im thinkin bout buildin another 327 for it but give it some ***** this time. But thats after i finish my next project. Just picked it up, its a 64 Chevy Biscayne aka Project Bisquick. Its got a 6cyl/3onthetree. Its gonna be my DD. Needs some work but its gonna be sweet.

Since I see people posting 3rd Gens...

My 91' Z28 5.7L car, not quite a classic yet - but you don't see too many of these running around anymore.

My 72' SS 454 Chevelle clone w/ 49K original miles. 454, M21 4 speed, factory AC, PS, PB, buckets, console, 12 bolt 3.55 posi rear, F41 suspension.

My Father's 72' SS 454 Chevelle clone w/ 63K original miles. 454, TH400, factory AC, PS, PB, tilt, buckets & console, 12 bolt 3.08 posi, F41 suspension.

My mom's 72' Monte Carlo. Mild 355 with TPI, tilt, buckets & console, full guages, AC, PS, PB, 12 bolt.

Also working on a 67' Chevy truck for my dad, and a 51' MB roadster straight from Germany. Will eventually get some pictures of those when there is more progress.

Thank you! It still has the original L22(250ci), yes 250ci inline 6. It has a th350 with shifter on column. Not quite sure if it's the original as most came with powerglides.

Thank you! Currently, it's at the body shop having a couple little holes filled in DR's door jamb and they are going over entire outside of car with a grey eboxy to protect metal. Once that is done, I'm going to put a black bumblebee stripe on it until I can really get started on it.

Thanks, all the resto work was performed by my father and myself. The two Chevelles were almost rust free and in great shape. The Monte was a car from the Northeast, required a good amount of metal work to make it what it is today.

Nice looking car. I bought mine from my grandma. Over 400k on the stock 4.1L too. I'm thinking if I could squeeze a cad 500 in there, it'd be a good replacement. And yes, that is white leather interior. White fur coat not included

So how many times has that 4.1 V8 been rebuilt??? Most people were lucky to get 100k on them before they grenaded. Definetly not Cadillac's best work under the hood, but the rest of the car is classic.

As for the Cad 500 project, 1980 and 81 Devilles still had the big block Cadillac in them. 1980 it was 368ci, 81 was also 368ci but with the new V-4-6-8 feature and fuel injection. Either way, the engines are the same dimensions externally as a Cadillac 500, so motor mounts from those cars would work. Both 80 & 81 had the TH400 trans in them too, which would bolt straight up to a Cadillac 500.

You might also need to upgrade the rear end, 4.1 V8 cars came with the 7.5" 10 bolt rear. Its the same rear as a 4th gen fbody, so you'll probably be okay using it provided you don't beat on it too much.
