69 Camaro SS, actual hugger orange car, X55 code. Doesn't have the original engine, so it will be getting an LS7 when I'm done.

70 SS 454 Chevelle. Original color, LS-5 car. It also doesn't have the original engine, so it is getting a GM 502ci crate engine and T56 installed.

Why a 502? You seem like more of a 632 kinda guy

502ci is plenty, I'm more interested in a cruiser with the Chevelle. Once I swap the cam and go EFI, it should be a simple 500 rwhp combo.

Not interested in an LSX for the Chevelle, those engines look tiny inside the huge engine bay. Plus, this car started life as a big block, so I'd rather keep it one.

I love that gold color. Definetly my favorite color for the 2nd gen Trans Am, it just really pops with the hood bird. You don't see any gold cars like that anymore either, which is kind of sad IMO. I love the 1970's metallic burnt oranges, metallic browns, metallic golds, and pale yellows.

Thanks.....many people have asked me, WHY GOLD and my answer is always the same.....BECAUSE its the original color and my intent was to retore the car back to how it originally looked along with my own added treats. It is after all, a original 73K mile car I purchased from the original owner when he was 88 years old. Who would have guessed at the time, but that 88 yr old man treated himself to this car when he retired at 64 yrs old.

My 1968 Nova I bought to restore. Every nut and bolt for the interior will be 1968. All parts are in the garage already. Going 400+ ci with LSx block and a blower under the hood. Pro-touring suspension.

My 1971 Chevelle. Just a basic freshening up. Has a BBC 427 with a Mass-Flo EFI setup. This is right after the paint was sprayed, that's why the bumpers aren't back on yet. Going to have Coys C-5 wheels.

Also have a 1972 Nova SS with moon roof, but it's a rust bucket. My 1970 Mach 1 is the same way, rust bucket.

Nice ride, my dad has a 68 Malibu that I believe is the same color, but it needs a lot of body work after 40+ years of midwest weather.

Here is his 70 1/2 RS Camaro.
