how do you think i know....
i've had it around 8 months now. It seems like the 6LE crew was the originators of the idea. i had never
seen anyone with that until i found the 6LE forum around april and i saw all of your cars with it. i HAD to
do it as soon as i saw it. to this day, other than you guys and myself i've never seen anyone else with it.
i get questions about them all the time, how to do it, or where i got em, etc...

lol Ive changed the rear of my SS LE 5 times in the last 2 years LOL till i decided this was the best look for me! First, I did the berger panel ,then did the blacked out tail lights, then i changed it again with a custom corvette taillight panel LOl then got some export tail lights that i made the amber parts red ,like crimson birds camaro on this thread LOL Finally just installed another set of clearcoated exports. If you can get some 35th LE silver letters and some exports with a CME this will give you another option to just blacking out your tail lights. Either way you go,, it will look good IMO

Actually, Chris (Whistler) did it first on his car (but he used translucent film like a tint)...
Then I did mine but I used the method Third-Gen guys have been using for years, the translucent paint...
Then I helped mike do his and the rest is history
