Wow that was a badass video, like said it was like watching a movie trailer. Awesome editing man.

And the car looks amazing.

Is 360Forged going good again or did you get your set before they had the problems?

Beautiful car, and very professionally done. A combo that isn't done enough IMO.

What kind of camera are you using? Is it a professional one? Or is it a hand held HD?

Also, what software did you use?

Whoa.. I have been MIA again, sorry about that LOL

Thanks for all the comments, guys! Really appreciate the feedback. We are pushing to come out with some more with cars as mentioned in a previous post (Porsche, Ferrari's, Lambo's etc.), so definitely be on the look out for that!

Here is the run down on the gear we are using:

Two Sony HVR-V1U - For those that aren't into video, these cameras shoot in 24p (film) and are 3 chip sensors (broadcast quality)

Final Cut Pro 6.0.6 with plug-in's - Industry standard for movies, television programs, etc.

17" Intel based Macbook Pro's

Dell XPS Hackingtosh/Win7 machine - i7-860, 2.8Ghz, 8GB DDR3, GeForce GTS240 1024MB, Dual 19" Monitors

Ok, ok.. enough with my nerd e-*****

^ Thanks for the info! Definatly some high tech hardware you got there. I would love to own one but in reality the camera is just to big and bulky for my needs. I would still love to have that type of quality video camera though.

Not to hijack your thread here, but do you happen to know what the highest quality HD hand held camera would be? (looking for a standard smaller size)

Thanks man! This is definitely a bit bulky (when you first handle it), but in 3-chip style camera's, this is probably one of the smallest and lightest out there!

Not a problem at all.. the BEST way to go (in my opinion), would be with the Canon HV30. I had a Sony HDR-SR11 before, but it could not touch the HV30 in many ways. One being the low-light sensor being exponentially good and also the fact that it will do native 24p with options of switching to 30p.

There is a great deal of aftermarket support for those cameras. After that camera, you are going to be looking into the upper $3K for a better replacement. It is single chip, so it is a bit limited, but for the price and the community it has you simply can not beat it!

Look into those, they won't break the bank either. Go on Vimeo.com and check out some HV30 clips!
