I could ask the guy. I know exactly where that took place in Fairfax, VA. I work over in that area everyday and know where that BMW parks.

I don't know either of those people though, just recognized everything from the video. Small world.

That was funny as hell. I dont think he was bouncing it off the redline rev limiter but when you have a DSM in neutral I think from the factory it has a 3500 rpm limiter. Keeps you from dumping the tranny out the bottom. Ill have to ask my buddy with his GSX. I dont think the guy in the BMW new what was going on. Love the camera work, Michael J. Fox could have done a better job holding the camera.

I think the guys were friggin retarded and the video was funny. Just goes to show how you'll kill your car if you don't know wtf you're doing. Can't say I haven't had my blunders (i overboosted at the recommendation of a friend). but they do sound pretty ghey. that butt sex line was funny as hell! thanx man, i needed that laugh.

Hey, it's at the intersection of Fairfax Pkwy and Fairlakes Circle. Do you know where Galyans is at? It's right by that. Hmm, what else...There is a building on the corner there with a big pond(with water fountains) right next to it. Oh, and a Silver Diner is right up the street across the next intersection. The DSM didn't make it that far though. If you keep going straight the way they were heading you will run right into Fair Oaks Mall eventually. Ok, if you can't tell where it's at now then I can't help you anymore.

Hehehe, um, yeah, i used to live about a mile from there.
I recognize it now that I watch it again.

You never expect to see places you know on these vids,
at least I never did.

Where do you work xlr8nss? My parents still live over in
Greenbriar. I could walk over to that galyans in a few
minutes.

We have a couple clients in that area that we do construction work for. The biggest is AMS but, we also work for PEC and some other smaller companies around there. I've been in just about all the buildings in that area at one time or another.

We should get the local crew together some time. I met
WILWAXU the other day, but haven't met any other
locals.

"I hadn't gotten my car to the dyno yet, but conservative estimates were somewhere just above 450 bhp at the flywheel, untuned. That's about 112 hp per piston/rod. If you have any doubts about these numbers, just watch the video of the destruction.

I knew it was going to happen sometime, but I sure didn't expect it at that moment. I had tuned the car conservatively and was running rich. My EGTs had only peaked at about 880 deg C, I had no detonation, I was running only 18 psi, and I had not even added any additional spark timing advance."

this guy is definitely a rice king...first he says that its untuned, then its "tuned conservatively" and its stock expect for the fact that he put a new turbo in it(several posts down)

o yea and this too....."it does 0-60 in just under 4 seconds."<---on a stock shortblock
hell i know there is a lot i have to learn, but this is just ridiculous...
