well as some of you know, I put a HUGE *** cam in the Z06 a few mths ago, (Vindicator from Vengance Racing) and only yielded 386whp/369 lb ft after the tune...i knew the stock exhaust was killing me...last weekend i installed a set of Texas Speed Long tubes and 3in Xpipe with cat deletes... went back to the dyno yesterday and got some new numbers... after EFI spent about an hour on it, the car made an AMAZING 422rwhp/400 lb ft tq... thats an increase of 36 rwhp and over 30 tq!...

here is a little walkaround at idle, car sounds so nasty WOT... sorry its dark...il try and get the dyno vid up soon...

Yes sir, the only mods are cam, lts, xpipe...I'm running stock axle back and stock mufflers... stock titanium will do the job no need to spend money on aftermarket for maybe another 5whp...

Thx man u will get some vids for sure. I got to get my rerun with my buddies 408 foxbody, and lots of others around here to run. Car pulls so much harder now, very impressed with TSP products, especially the C5 LTs

sounds good i have the same cam you should hear it cut outs open mine made 427 with fast 90/90 stock heads ud pulley,85mm maf,ftp lid. through a yank 4000 locked

can you drive the car ever day with that cam or is the cam to big. i am looking at buy the same cam but i only have my z28 to drive ever day right now.

oh yes, not the best cam for daily driving but i have no issues and i love it... it makes BIG power, i made 422rwhp Cam and LT's only, stock TB, Intake, heads and all... i would definitely recommend this cam.

i dont drive my car every day but i could with ease, just got to let it warm up a tad, but no problem stop light to stop light

that is the most perfect cam lope ive heard. theres large cams ive seen that sound good that dont make these nummber for example seen a ls1 with longutbes and big cam making only 390hp

Thats because the op's car has ls6 243 heads and ls6 intake... wich is a big difference from 241 heads and the ls1 intake...

id have to check but i think around 700, to be honest im not positive though, ill have to let it warm up and let you know

thanks bud... yea the heads and the intake make a good bit difference...i could squeeze out another 20-30whp if i ported the TB and did a pulley and other basic mods., i could probably get 450whp on the stock 243's untouched. screw it im just gonna spray it
