nice car but to me im not a fan of making it look like a 03/04 when its not its one thing throwing an ss or ws6 hood on a f body cause there not faster then a regular t/a or z28but thats like taking a v6 stang throwing a hood scoop rear bumper and dual exhaust its just stupid but i do love the look of an 03/04 just sad it doesnt have the power to back up the looks

I do not see how putting a newer Cobra bumper on a Cobra is like putting a hood scoop on a V6 at all...they're not even close to relivant. As Bill said, my car even N/A has plenty of power to back up it's looks, as I **** on stock Terminators with the little things done to mine. And a 2.2 KB is on order, so maybe then it will have "the power to back up the looks" even though it's just the looks of stock Cobra body parts?
What is retarded, is putting a set of heavy *** 40lb china made summit drag wheels on a car just to get the "drag look"

a ws6 is no faster then a regular t/a so no i dont see a big deal i like the look of the car but everyone is commenting nice car only other car i would own because they think its an 03/04 u never posted the year of the car or said it
i guarantee if you said in ur inital post its an 01 you wouldnt have gotten half the comments yea you have a cobra but you dont have a terminator and i highy doubt u **** on stock 03/04's they trap about 110 it would take alot of mods for ur 01 to trap that

And if it makes you sleep any better at night, the previous owner did the 03 conversion to the body. I'm just finishing it engine/drivetrain wise. Don't be mad because my DD and my streetcar are faster than your T/A.

4v n/a have similar hp/tq as an ls1, not to mention 4v are bullit proof. its just like a guy with a formula putting a trans am bumpers and a ws6 hood... which happens ALOT. not to mention this guy has put more than just 03-04 bumpers on, there is an IRS under it too.

boost a stock ls1 past 600 rwhp... ive seen whippled or KB cobras going well over the 600 mark without anything done to the bottom end.
with that said i know the 01 cobras have a weaker 4v, but its still stronger than a factory ls1. not bashing chevy motors in anyway, i think that lsx series make more power n/a than 4v.

The rods in the 01' 4.6 will go through the block at 450+ rwhp. I've seen stock LS1's with a power adder go over 550 without a problem.
The 01' 4.6 makes around 270 rwhp stock while the LS1 makes closer to 300 rwhp stock.
