Holly *****, that thing hauls a$$. And sounds bad ***. I just noticed your from WI. You gotta bring that thing to GB for the dyno days this weekend at Beyond Redline. If not it would be cool to see it at RSD @ WIR in June. If you can make it, I would be willing to take you up on your profile/ screen name.

Thanks! I had 3.73s in there to start and with the 3-speed TH400 they would give me a top speed of about 130. The 2.73s load the engine nicely, top speed is now about 175, and I can roll on the freeway comfortably

That's cool man. Try to get that thing up to an RSD@ WIR though. I would love to see all the Mustang Fanboys crowd around that car wondering whats making all that power under the hood, just to find out its an LS1 lol.

*Going from my horrible memory* Evo 9 turbo with billet comp wheel, bigger ar ext housing, said it was comparable to a gt30r. 272 cams, full exhaust etc. Made 525 at the wheels and he turned up the boost a bit before the race.
Mine=347 with rods/pistons, stock crank, ported by me 317s, ls6 cam/intake, truck manifold setup, TC78 .96 ar, twin 255s, SD 60lbers, rails/referenced regulator, RMVB TH400 w/brake, Neil Chance 3600 verter, 2.73s w/spool, 10" M&H Racemasters, HP Tuners tuned by me.. about 11lbs of boost.

I have a turbo 6.0 coupe with 17's and im at 3k. Minuse the aluminum block but add the hatch its probably a wash. I obviously dont know all the specs you may have pulled your bumpers.. all your interior etc. But I would bet it would be between 2900-3k just a guess.

Love the car man, on the weight thing.. Your definately not that light. My friend with a gutted coupe w/ no turbo kit same trans all tubular suspension weighs 2600. I would bet you being a hatch plus the turbo kit.. and 17 inch wheels are closer to 3k lbs.

Those are my street wheels, I have Prostars for the track. There's no interior, tubular k-member/a-arms, no front crash bar, no front swaybar, alum block/heads (LS1 duh), gutted dash, gutted wiring harness, sound deadener removal, manual rack, manual brakes, carbon fiber hood/no latch, no wipers/radio/speakers/ac/heat/etc, the ls1 radiator i'm running is a lot thinner than a mustang's, single e-fan, no splash guards, no quad shocks, single exhaust to the back for when cutout is closed, spool.. yea she should be pretty light.
