One of my friend bought 1 w/ everything and put a Acrapovic full system & Power Commander but the bike stands him close to $20,000 too much money for me when i can get a 09 leftover ZX10 for $7999.

176-180rwhp out of the box. $13.800 no options.

17,xxx fully optioned out. Includes M paint/body work, quick shifter, ABS/Traction control.

At 13.8 they are exactly competitive with the Japanese stuff, and the cheapest out of all the Big name exotic bikes, (Aprillia, MV Agusta, KTM, etc)

And below... How is the thread misleading!!!!

Also, you are comparing an old body '09 bike. To a BRAND NEW '10 bike that debuted this year. There aren't even any 2010 model Suzuki 1Ks in America due to the fact that there are too many 09s on the showroom floor.

It's pretty bad when every other country Suzuki sells to gets 2010 models. Our dollar and market is so bad that they decided there were enough 2009s to satisfy customers...

Heres a vid from the guys a couple towns over who own MAX BMW in NH and NY. Shows what the ABS and Traction control is capable of on a lake down the street.

All 4 of the Jap makes will be overhauling BIG time. You don't think they are going to let a competitively priced German liter bike take the crown on it's debut?

A Hayabusa, and S1000RR on a dyno... Same day, same dyno, guess which makes more rwhp?

The best part about the bike, and all the hype, is that Japs will respond with some serious competition. As if the 1K bikes aren't already fast enough LOL.

Wow, thread revival. Sadly, I lost a friend last year who was riding his BMW S1000RR when a car pulled out in front of him. He was doing the speed limit but the car was parked on the shoulder and according to eye witnesses, she never used her turn signal and just pulled out into traffic and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ride safe guys.
