Love it! Always great videos that keep me from completing work lol.

The E60s rip, quite a bit quicker than my body M5. With my limiter removed I can still hit 186 though

I thought e39s stock could hit 190+ with the limiter removed and 195+ with full exhaust, intake and tune? That's wat I was told by my friend with a e39 m5

Highest I've seen personally is 186. Headers are worth 25-30rwhp with good software and no cats so I'm sure it's possible.

I have all the other goodies. Too cheap to spend $3600 on a set of poor quality headers for this car only to make 360/370 wheel. Or you could always spend $8000 on a set from Dinan

Yes.

Anything with a Dinan branding on it is redic. My intake system costs $3600. The parts work, and are better than pretty much anything else on the market. But you pay for it out the ***.

I think the A1 Headers are Australian Ebay headers. They are only like $1k but not worth the $$$ IMO.

Thats all fine, but not without spending $3500+. There aren't more than a handfull of shops in the country that can tune the car for setup like that. You can get away with running up to a 75wet shot with some ingenuity.

Cost my roommate $3500 for dyno/street tuning on an E46 M3 I built him from the ground up. Made 508 at the wheels, but it cost him about $30k to get there.

You can't make power on these cars without spending A LOT of money. The tuning/software costs you out the ***.

Good video. Those M5s are nuts. I recently raced a bone stock one and lost by about 2-3 cars .

My friend just did the exact same thing to his evo 9 and is shooting for the exact same awhp haha.

my friend made an intake for like 300bucks tops, looks better than the dinan imo. prolly the same gains as well.

his headers seem pretty good dont leak or anything. his car definitely pulls alot harder after the headers, tune, and some v12 clutch/light weight flywheel

Cold-air or manifold? Either way you cannot compare home-made mods to companies like Dinan. That is like comparing a C6 to a Gallardo, or replicas to Fikse/HRE, they may be comparable when in one area, but it's a whole other league.
