I don't know why people keep saying that. The Z28 (Whenever it comes out..) will be in comp with the Cobras. Not the GTs.

I like hearing about the new Mustang's accomplishments.

I'm always more than happy to discuss a great car.
Then again, I'm a car enthusiast far before I'm any brand loyalist (not saying you are a loyalist).

If you don't like reading about it, then just stop opening up threads that are clearly titled with anything related to the new Mustang.

The '03 Cobra was sold at the same time as the '02 F-bodies... and the GT500s are compared to F-bodies mostly by F-body owners.

It's ok to compare the Z28 to a 2v GT if you want.

I never said it wasn't ok to compare anything. I said it wasn't competing with it on the market place. The new Z28, if and when it comes out, will be competing with the Cobra

BTW a 03 Cobra wasn't all that much more than a new 02 WS6. It was faster, but it didn't cost that much more.

I LOVE all domestic cars, and even alot of imports. im not saying the car isnt cool, just that im tired of this thread poping up every time i get on. because all it is, is just full of a bunch of **** talkers!
i dont go to ford forums and post chevy stuff, and then talk **** about it.

put the same effort into building a SS camaro with the weight mods and I bet the results will be very close. I don't care what anyone says you will make more power with a 6.2L over a 5.0L when fully modded out.Cubic inch will win that war if the weight is the same

WTF are you talking about. All I said was cubic inch will win. The new GT modded out is fast but I could do the same to a new SS and get the same results.

all I know is this ,my old *** 4th gen will beat the new GT that is being talked about. I will never own a 5th gen SS so it doesnt matter. The new GT is pretty quick when you get a shop going all out on it. So is just about any other car that a shop buts a lot of work into.I have been to Atco many times and so has many members on here. I pray I get to line up with that car so I can post video of it getting smoked by a 2002 WS6.

my car was running 10.5's 2 years ago. Bunch of changes since then I aint skuurd. My buddy has a 10.3 cam only car. I could always spray it and go 9's on his ***

Then sure. I'd have to agree with you. Once you get in the single digits, the chance of a car beating you is slim.
