I honestly thought we were doing just 40 rolls, that's the general speed that we roll from here. 30 rolls is the death of my car, because 1st will be capped out right on the hit, and 2nd isn't quite in the power-band that I need.

My car has full exhaust vararam and a zex nitrous kit which never worked on the car, First of all, ya'll were standing right there when i opened the trunk and turned the bottle on, and i never sprayed the car, Secondly, i pulled over on the interstate because my hood poped open durning the race, and Third, only time i messed with the nitrous was at the gas station you idiot because i wanted to make sure everything was working right because i have had some problems with the kit.

i asked your buddy that was riding with you if 30 was okay and said yah, but anyways, ill be back down again this weekend and we can get some better runs in if you'd like, once again nice meeting you and badass car man

Oh thanks man! Yeah my car made dome decent power... Probably about what you and dhg make but my transmission doesnt like seeing that power make it to the ground so yeah it slips real bad in second and wont go into third at wot... So i got on it just enough to keep up then i let out... How much you want for the trans? Im broke atm but maybe we can work something out?

Almost everytime I race those pesky Cobras, I get pulled in 4th gear. I usually out launch, and out shift. Then those 3.55s, or in this case 3.73 gears really help stretch the Cobras legs. That and they're monster torque I suppose.

I'm actually needing a ls1 right now. Short block or long block don't really matter to me. I bought a z28 the motor is hydrolocked on it though. Figured I would fix it and make alittle money off it haha. Know of anything let me know man

Thanks! I've had the 3.73's in the car since I got it a couple years ago, absolutely love the gears, great power but still very driveable on the highway and such.

Our runs seemed around 35'ish, but honestly, I don't pay much attention when it comes to it, I just adjust with throttle and keep and eye out for him and listen for honks (kinda hard to hear over the stingers)

Thanks guys More to come on the car, just got the conversion done myself a couple months ago. Only been to the track once and ran a 12.2 @ 114, with the stock shifter.

Hahahaha this has already crossed my mind once or twice already!

And lt1powerz i don't think the motor is fixable lol it threw a rod, so im looking for a shortblock at the moment, thanks anyways man. Find me a SS hood or SS spoiler and we can work out some kind of deal on that tranny. It's just sitting in my shop collecting dust anyways lol
