so how did you get to drive this considering they're going for 350k-400k with a very limited production?

I don't like the body kit, and the mesh sections under the tail lights. But I bet they are fun to drive

Everything boils down to who you know. This car is still a prototype and Toyota is sending it around the country to different Lexus dealerships to promote it. There are only two in the country right now. This one, which is used for promoting and street driving and a white one which is their track test car.

Does it still sound like an old bi-plane at 200mph? Thats what it would sound like when it was on the track at the proving ground when I worked there. But rev'ing in neutral sounded like a F1 engine.

Well obviously I don't know what it sound like at 200mph, and yes it sound like an F1 car when revving. Although, unfortunately when sitting you can only rev to 3k.

Back end of that thing is absolutely hideous aside from the exhaust.

Lexus needs a Halo car though, the rest of it looks sweet!

Mmmm.... LFA...

I LOVE that friggin car. The sounds it makes are fantastic! And that dash set up is one of the coolest things Ive seen in a car. Lots of gadgets? Sure. But the car still hauls so its not all techy!

Jealous that you even got to sit in it and rev it let alone drive it!

J.

it was quite nice to drive. tranny shifts were very abrupt and hard, but otherwise a great driver's car.

Someone was playin with their livlyhood. To be entrusted with that car to do some promo and then let anyone at all, that doesnt have a mill sitting around for rainy days, drive it is insane. Looks like fun.

If it was black it would hide the body kit and mesh well and would look pretty sexy!
