It's cool, everybody's mind goes blank the first time they break something during a run.

I was lucky enough to have mine blow right in front of my shop

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7TiX5SejOo

When I opened it up, the ring and pinion were fine, but the spiders were mangled

Replaced it with a Strange 12-bolt an 4.11's

Will the lca's and lca relocation brackets I have save me at the track? They lca's are bolted to the lowest setting. It's a long shot but we can hope

What pressure were you running the tires at?

Good to see others at Milan. Not the best track in the world but it is closer for me then Norwalk and i always have good time and meet lots of nice people every time I go.

It appears as if one, or possibly both, of those cars blew a gear!

For the life of your 10 bolt: SLIP > DUMP

I broke chipped a few teeth of both the ring and the pinion when I was BONE stock (still have it, I should take pics). I was on the stock 245/50-16 street tires, and I was on the street! Oh, and I cracked the posi in a few places.

I've gone to the track twice since having it rebuilt. Highest I've left with sucess is 4k, quick slip. I held my breathe and said a prayer, and id a 4500 dump once, got sideways and said **** that, I'll just destroy my clutch instead.

Mine was a snaped axle. The cobra was a gear. I guess 8.8s arent as good as they should be if two break at the same time.

Fuckkk, I was thinking of doing an 8.8 swap, but now seeing that...kind of makes me think I should just wait for a 9"/12 bolt.

LOL that's hilarious. Just don't show it to any import guys or they'll make a mockery of Domestics.

You're wasting your money on that 10 bolt. I say swap back to 3.73s at the most, just to be safe. Then stay away from the track until you've saved enough for a 9".

Yes that would be fine. That means most of the daywill be test and tune. A fewtimes during they day they will take 30 min to an hour to run some sort of race. Always remember if you have any questions call them. Usualy someone is in the tower and can answer your questions.

Same here. about 45 min north of toledo. Only real issue is the grass and gravel in the pits. Not the end of the world.
