The vert' Fox is fast for sure, and you wouldn't expect it, heavy car. The motor that's in it, exact setup went 9.7's in the owners other fox, he just put it in the vert for fun. It's a non intercooled setup so it doesn't like getting hot, he has an IC coming for it though. That exact setup has been on that motor for 10 years so he just doesn't like the idea of changing it.

That Galant VR4 is the absolute best sleeper, period.
100% home built/tuned
2.4L 4G63 stroker + forged rods/pistons
Built ported/polished head/+bigger valves
Cams
Billet wheel Precision 6262
E85
24psi (for the time being, 35psi is kill mode)
Welded diff's
The car itself, nick named 'Golfball' for the obvious hail domination. Sleeper!
When it raced the SS Camaro it was at 18psi, 24 vs. the Z06 and on 24psi trapped 125mph at the track with a 1.880 60' (easy launch, no 2 step). On 24psi it is roughly at 510whp. Full tilt it should make 35ish psi and 650+whp.
He does plan on doing the body work next. I love this car.
