Cool to see them get there so quickly and with a relatively simple build. I was hoping it was still a manual but at least we know how good the coyote motors are.

Why is their all this talk about ones already in the 8's? Mod motors have been out for years? You guys act like you've never seen stroker 4.6's? People have been building these things for over 16 years guys!!

4.6 stroker is not the same motor as a coyote 5.0.

So you can't take the 4 Valve heads off a 5.0 and put them on a 4.6??

Is this a built and boosted short block with the stock top end?

lol, its funny that you mention that because i doubt much of anything that came on it from the factory is still there. at least in the engine/tranny/rearend and suspension. this looks like more of a bragging rights thing for evolution to increase their sales. i dont thnk they ran that kind of boost on the stock bottom end either. so basically we just watched a 5.0 shell run an 8.. nice.

I'm going to dig around and see if I can find the build tonight, but I'd be more than impressed if the heads, intake and cams are OEM. I would expect a built bottom end, mainly because the factory compression ratio is so high.
