We barely finished this car in time for the mile, had lots of problems, finally tuned it a day before the mile, it all turned out well though ![Devil](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_devil.gif)
weather conditions sucked, seemed like all the fast cars were down 10 mph due to the wind, overall we were happy with the results.

Supra's always seem to hit the high numbers @ the mile. There's something about the aero on those cars that allows them to cut through the air above 170 MPH. I realize that there's a lot of power involved, but, at those speeds, aero is the key. Well done!

It's because the Supras you see at the Mile all make over 1100 RWHP

Does anyone ever even read comments before posting replies??? My comment says "I realize that there's a lot of power involved."
I still say that it is the aero above 170 MPH that allows the Supras to get up so high in the mile. Show me another car power for power that matches the top speed of a Supra in a standing mile. There are very few. Yes, I would consider even 2 MPH a huge difference @ the speeds we are discussing.
