Is that the 1:1 in the Mustang? Most cars are 4th gear I believe.

12.6 is considered really good in these cars, unless you were saying you have ran 12.4-12.6 with yours. Most people are running a high 12/low 13.

Here are the ratios for it-

1st 3.66
2nd 2.43
3rd 1.69
4th 1.32
5th 1.00
6th 0.65
Final drive 3.31:1

Nice numbers, sounds pretty good!

Very good man! With some bolt ons and tune it should be evil. Ford gives the government the finger on the bailout, then puts out a STOUT 5.0, I might have to get one for myself used some day.

Haha I know some terrible drivers are running 13's but with a good driver a mid 12 is about right. I mean think about it 370hp and hooks it should run mid 12's all day long with that power

Terrible? I think more than half are running low 13s bone stock, the fastest ones are running high 12s, maybe the fastest one has run a mid 12. I would call that high 12-low 13. You can't count the fastest as what they run, ZR1's/ZO6's would be considered high 10 cars because one guy did it.

exactly... Ive seen 1 guy run a 12.7 on a set of rims with some better rubber, but with crappy off the lot tires and a stick I havent seen anything better than a low 13. its funny how most people that dont go to the track know all about how easy it is to run the times of what a car is CAPABLE of. The power is there though, mid 12's through an auto and good tires all day.

Link? Stock down to the tires? I think someone hit high 11's on just drags. Again goes back to average vs what one guy ran though.

ive watched run after run in the high 11's with tune and a few bolt ons...drag radials. different people in different cars. not pros. joe's. its an old argument.

12.2-12.3 stock on drags. it takes at least a tune to get 11's. some have with only a tune. i havent tried mine.
