Thanks!

Update: 1/24 Magnaflow exhaust with real aluminum tubing tips. Compare to the ridiculous plastic ones offered with the kit.

What type of glue do you use? It seems like the model glue I have runs the paint when it comes in contact

I use mostly cyanoacrylate based ones and Shoe Goo. You need to use as little as possible and always try to scrap the paint from the surfaces you will bond together.

Hey guys! I need a good underside pic of a Camaro or TA to have as a reference to fine tune the details. My car is not too clean at this moment (lots of rain!).

Thanks!

The only thread I can think of that might help is the one in the external engine section regarding true duals:

Thats what Im looking for! Thanks! Mostly the underside of these cars is body color without clear. The instructions that came with the model said to paint it flat black. I knew it was wrong but wanted to dial in the rest of the details.

Update:

My custom SFC are installed. I used two different sizes of solder wire. Paint finish ( I use acrylics mostly) has a nice quality when used with solder wire, it looks almost as powder coating.

Also an example of the seat belt material shown for reference.

Update: Cone filters done.

Rapid mock up with engine. So far the throttle body seems to maych perfectly with the hose.

Stainless steel clamps in place!

What you think?

Ive decided to build a truck rig as a transport for the model and make the whole thing like a diorama of sorts. I found a nice discontinues 1/24 AMC Peterbilt Wrecker that can be easily modified to work as a transport. If there is enough interest I can continue thread including the truck and diorama build, if not I will stop once the TA model is complete.

Thanks for looking.
