Great model. Do you have any pics of the engine bay with that intake you made?

Great work on both cars. Looks like I'm gonna have to go out and buy a model 4th Gen now. Want to make me a Sunoco hood since I know my attempt won't turn out half as good as yours, lol.

Thanks for the compliments!

Had a bit of a delay with the holidays & such but finally have a chance to show some progress. Painted the body the same as my car but now I'm having second thoughts about it & the full size car too lol. I think I will use this chance to try out a differant paint scheme & see how I like it before I go full size. I am still not sure yet though, I liked my satin black for a little while but its getting a little old already to me.... we will see.

Thanks guys!
I did the whistler on the headlights but had a small issue, as I stated in the begining this was a rebuld so as I was trying to clean 9 year old super glue off the inside of one of the lenses I broke it. First one came out almost perfect, blew the second one. Did the best I could to repair it & it looks ok I guess. The break is in almost the perfect spot to be hidden by doing the whistler anyway. I have some new pics with emblems, fuel door & lights but they all suck! For some reason my camera isn't working to well so I'm not going to post pics yet.

As far as the hood goes, I did make my own using the SS hood that comes with the kit. I just built the sunoco cowl on top & blended it all together.

The cage was built from aluminum tubing I got at the hobby store, its like $1.50 for 36" I think, its pretty cheap & goes a long way. Be carful not to kink it when you make your bends.

F@cking amazing! Your model has more attention to detail and coolness than 90% of our cars, lol!

I need that hood and gauge overlay for my model! That whole thing looks great. Are you going to do the green inserts on your 1:1 scale car like you did on the model?

If your talking about the seats & door panels, I think so. I wasn't sure if I would like it or not so I tried it here & I think I would like it! Guess I need to rip my interior apart again lol.
